This painting was inspired by popular Chinese tea culture. Tea time is a chance to slow down, pull back and appreciate our surroundings. In one of China’s tea cultures is common the use of tiny Pottery tea sets, called Gongfu Cha.  Sometimes an electrical device or candle are used underneath the teakettle to keep it warm. Glass teapots with flowers or fruits teas are called Hua Cha or Shuiguo Cha. Some tea houses or Asian restaurants in the US hold a lot of tea ceremonies.  Great opportunities to experience tea cultures.
